Customer is now aware of material background, composition, production etc. Every product earns its own transparency percentage that shows how much designers know about their products pre life and how large is the visibility of products life cycle.
The shipping system of Trash to Trend web shop is changed. All orders made to products under 2kg are shipped free. If customer is interested of ordering heavy products for example furniture then TTT is waiting for customer contact before making order with customers’ shipping address to make clear the best shipping possibilities and costs.
Opportunities to come up with new design ideas can be implemented by Trash to Trend Design Camp. The idea of Design Camp is to introduce selected and approved design ideas. After finishing first prototype it is possible to support product development process by making advance orders. Ready made products will be sold on Trash to Trend web shop.
The first Design Camp idea: Designer Liisa Murdvee is using Estonian Song and Dance Celebration defective T-shirts to create warm coats and jackets that are woven on looms, finished product do not have seams.
There are few new designers joined with Trash to Trend - MiMoDesign with its bunnies. MiMoDesign has specially designed Funny Bunny to Trash to Trend web shop. Another news is that Trash to Trend web shop is selling patterns - Funny Bunny is the first one.
Skyebags added Kitty Hawk Tote to Trash to Trend web shop. Another Skyebags bags are added to web shop within few months time. Skyebags collection is constructed from recycled aircraft leather donated by Delta Air Lines. 10% of profit from each sale is donated to the nonprofit organization selected by Delta Air Lines.
